Dr. Samuel Jesse Anthony II was born in Madison Alabama. Dr. Anthony completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He attended medical school at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Anthony joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Program to practice full scope medicine including Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) in rural areas. In his free time, Dr. Anthony enjoys reading, martial arts, and hiking.
Dr. Anne de Geus is a native of Columbia, Missouri. Dr. de Geus completed her undergraduate studies as well as, her medical degree at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.
Dr. Anne de Geus joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Program to practice full-spectrum family medicine, hospital medicine and palliative care. In her free time, Dr. de Geus enjoys hanging out with her husband and kids, practicing yoga, paddleboarding and running.
Dr. Blake Dixon is a native of Hindman, Kentucky. Dr. Dixon completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Pikeville in Pikeville, Kntucky. He attended medical school at the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Dixon joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Program with the goal of one day practicing Family Medicine with an emphasis in rural health. In his free time, Dr. Dixon enjoys spending time with his wife and dog and watching sports.
Dr. Andrew Grose is a native of Bountiful, Utah. Dr. Grose completed his undergraduate studies at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. He attended medical school at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia.
Dr. Grose joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Program with the goal of practicing rural family medicine with an interest in sports medicine and emergency medicine. In his free time, Dr. Grose enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, hiking, watching movies, and basketball.
Dr. Brandi Johns was born in Campbellsville, Kentucky. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. Johns attended medical school at the University of Pikeville- Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Benedict joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Program with the goal of working in rural medicine with a focus on mental and behavioral health. Dr. Benedict's mother is a nurse, so from a very young age she has shown interest in medicine and wanted follow the same career path. In her free time, Dr. Benedict enjoys spending time with her fiancé and animals. She also loves to explore new places, go thrifting, and enjoys wine tasting.
Dr. Amanda Erskine is orginally from Lewisburg, West Virginia. She completed her undergraduate studies at Southern Adventist University in Chattanooga, TN. She attended medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine in Loma Linda, California.
Dr. Erskine joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Program with the goal of practicing in Women's Health and Hormone Replacement Therapy as well as wound care. Dr. Erskine's entire family is in health care and she had dreams of becoming a physician like her dad. In her free time, Dr. Erskine enjoys cooking, traveling, and photography.
Dr. Fedwa Lutfi is orginally from Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky. She attended medical school at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica.

She is motivated by the high demands for physicians in her hometown and the problem solving and investigative side of medicine. In her free time, Dr. Lutfi enjoys cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband, son and extended family.
Dr. Mary Nguy is a native of Irvine, California. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biology and Neuroscience at the University of California-Riverside in Riverside, California. She attended medical school at the University of Pikeville-Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Nguy joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Program in hopes to utilize her graduate and medical degree to pursue her interests in emergency medicine, urgent care and international and preventative medicine. Her decision to become a physician was largely influenced by her values and work in underserved communities. In her free time, Dr. Nguy enjoys traveling, outdoor and thrill-seeking activities, photography, reading and learning new languages.

Dr. Tacelosky joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Program with the goal of improving the health and wellness of patients in rural communities. She hopes to apply her graduate school training in opioid pharmacology to treat substance use disorders. In her free time, she enjoys listening to blues, rock n' roll, and jazz music; attending concerts; reading American literature; running outdoors; and exploring the beautiful state of Kentucky.
Dr. Zachariah Claytor is a native of Lexington, Kentucky. He completed his undergraduate studies at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, Kentucky with a B.S. in Biology and minor in Biophysics. Dr. Claytor attended medical school at the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dr. Claytor joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Program with the hope of one day working as a full scope family practice physician in an outpatient setting. His mom's experience, compassion and service as a family practice physician in Lexington has been his biggest motivator. In his free time, Dr. Claytor enjoys studying films and the art of filmmaking, reading, writing, traveling and going on outdoor adventures.
Dr. Kelsi Evans is orginally from Faribanks, Alaska. She completed her undergraduate studies at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington with a B.A. in Biolgy and a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Evans completed medical school at West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia.
Dr. Evans joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Program with the goal of one day providing holistic health services to her community. Her mother and physicians in Mozambique who performed whole-person care to the body, soul and spirit are what motivated her to become a doctor. In her free time, Dr. Evans enjoys spending time with her husband, Leo and friends, enjoying nature through mountain biking, traveling, flying, snowboarding/skiing, hiking. She also enjoys cooking healthy food, playing soccer, and Jesus.
Dr. Alyssa Kozacek is was born in Somerset, Kentucky and raised in Gainesville, Virginia. She completed her undergraduate studies at the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia with a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Kozacek attended medical school at Lincoln Memorial University - DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tennessee.
Dr. Kozacek joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Prgram with the goal of being able to provide compassionate patient care within the full spectrum of family medicine. She has a special interest in behavioral, reproductive and LGBT health. In her free time, Dr. Kozacek enjoys animal rescue, gardening and losing to her grandmother at Scrabble.
Dr. James Lutz is a native of New Hope, Ohio. He completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University East in Richmond, Indiana where he studied Biology. Dr. Lutz attended medical school at Liberty University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Lynchburg, Virginia.
Dr. Lutz joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Program with the goals of one day opening a family medicine clinic in rural Kentucky and pursuing medical mission work in the U.S. and overseas. In his free time, Dr. Lutz enjoys playing chess, running and physics.
Dr. Rebecca Whitworth is orginally from Barbourville, Kentucky. She completed her undergraduate degree at Asbury University in Wilmore, Kentucky. Dr. Whitworth attended medical school at Unviersity of Louisville School fo Medicine in Louisville, Kentucky.
Dr. Whitworth joined the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital Residency Program with the goal of practicing medicine in southeastern Kentucky, where she was born and raised. She is interested in inpatient medicine, procedures, international and local medical missions, medical education and outpatient medicine. Pursuing a career that allows her to make a difference for people of all ages is a big motivation for her. In her free time, Dr. Whitworth enjoys quilting, sewing, going on walks and spending time with her family and friends.

His biggest motivation for becoming a physician comes from wanting to be in a career that helps people in their utmost time of need. In his free time, Dr. Yakkanti enjoys sports like tennis and basketball as well as dance, movies and music.
